- Tree to Bar - Every Huraco bar is made at our cacao plantation, i.e, Chempotty Estate, Mysuru. The entire process of cultivation, harvesting, fermentation, drying, roasting, cracking and winnowing, grinding, conching, tempering, and packaging is done at our estate! Made by Farmers, enjoyed by all!
2) Just 3 ingredients - There's an old saying, "The art of art, the glory of expression, and the sunshine of the light of letters, is simplicity". And holding true to our vision for craft chocolate, we use only organic cacao beans, organic jaggery, and cacao butter in all our cacao-based offerings.
3) Award Winner - Our cacao plantation - Chempotty Estate has won 3 best farmer awards for integrated farming practices, the most recent one in 2023 for the best farmer in Mysuru district from the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of Karnataka. We practice Shri Subhash Palekar's zero-budget natural farming. We use only Jeevamruth for pest control and soil nourishment and Acchadana(Mulching) for proper aeration and water retention.
4) Mysuru Single Origin - The unique Mysuru terroir contributes to a flavour like no other chocolate. The beans being from a single origin ensures uniformity in the quality and output of the beans.
5) Real Cacao, Real Benefits - Consuming unadulterated, pure cacao has many health benefits. It is rich in iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and many other minerals. Real cacao is great for heart health. It improves blood flow to the heart. It reduces fatigue and exhaustion. It is good for the skin and hair. It releases serotonin, endorphins, and other "feel good" chemicals in the body naturally.
6) Organic Fine Flavour Cacao - Since we control the entire process of a tree to bar, we can maintain and develop fine flavour cacao beans that contribute to the distinct and unique flavour profile(Fruity, nutty, caramel, honey, earthy) of our craft chocolates.

HURA is a small, scenic village located about 50 kms from Mysuru. Nestled between the Nugu reservoir and the Kabini river, alongside rolling hills; in close proximity to the Bandipur National Park. Cacao is grown organically in Chempotty Estate of Hura village along with over 10000 trees of coconut, arecanut, banana, guava, mango, soursop and many other fruit trees and flowers.
