Cacao Fruit
1) Theobroma Cacao - This is where our chocolate comes from. The oval shaped yellow fruit with its hard outer husk and sweet, fruity, litchi-like pulp on the inside.

3) Award Winner - Our cacao plantation - Chempotty Estate has won 3 best farmer awards for integrated farming practices, the most recent one in 2023 for the best farmer in Mysuru district from the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of Karnataka. We Practice Shri Subhash Palekar's zero budget natural farming. We use only Jeevamruth for pest control and soil nourishment and Acchadana(Mulching) for proper aeration and water retention.
HURA is a small, scenic village located about 50 km from Mysuru. Nestled between the Nugu reservoir and the Kabini River, alongside rolling hills; in close proximity to the Bandipur National Park. Cacao is grown organically in Chempotty Estate of Hura village along with over 10000 trees of coconut, arecanut, banana, guava, mango, soursop, and many other fruit trees and flowers.
